NYSTEC Volunteers Continue Tradition of Managing Postal Food Drive for New Scotland Community Food Pantry

For the third year in a row, several NYSTEC volunteers helped the New Scotland Community Food Pantry sort through all the food donations received from the Voorheesville and Slingerlands Post Offices. This food pantry event is a wonderful, giving experience, solely run by volunteers, who were most appreciative of NYSTEC’s enthusiastic contribution. This was the second time NYSTEC participated in the event and is likely to become an annual company charity event from now on. The principal function of the pantry is to provide food and basic personal care items to those in need within the Town of New Scotland, including the geographic area comprising the Voorheesville School District.
