NYSTEC’s Community Involvement Committee recently created and delivered several Mother’s Day themed decorative baskets for residents at the Liberty Resources Help Restore Hope Center. The annual donation was used to benefit all of the Mothers currently resident at the Madison County, NY based shelter. The Liberty Resources Help Restore Hope Center provides free and confidential services to those affected by sexual assault, domestic violence or other violent crimes in Madison County and surrounding communities. Services are available to all victims and their family, regardless of when the abuse or crime occurred or whether they choose to report it to the police. NYSTEC received several Thank You notes, with the most common wording being the baskets “made them feel special” during a very difficult time in their lives.
