April 15, 2022. The NYSTEC Rome office held a Crisis Care Kits drive to help provide support for Ukrainians displaced by the invasion of their country.
Crisis Care Kits are a cooperative effort between the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Incorporated, and Nazarene Missions International. With a network of 30 non-government organizations and more than 170 faith-based organizations, the NCM has a long history of providing an intentional, organized effort to alleviate human suffering around the world.
The NYSTEC Community Involvement Committee raised $766, which committee members used to purchase approved items for the Ukrainian Crisis Care Kits. Those items included shampoo, bars of soap, toothpaste, adhesive bandages, nail clippers, hair combs, hand towels, tissues, and small stuffed toys.
On April 15, 2022, committee members delivered the Crisis Care Kit items to the Dunham Public Library in Whiteboro, NY, for packaging and shipping to Ukraine.
