The Department of Defense manages the program, and its mission is to strengthen the defense industrial base by accelerating innovation, fostering ingenuity, and establishing resilient and diverse supply chains.
Empowering the Future of New York
The Empire APEX Accelerator provides free confidential counseling and education to eligible businesses in New York’s Capital, Mid-Hudson, Mohawk Valley, North Country, Southern Tier, and Western regions interested in securing federal, state, and local government contracts. This program is another way that NYSTEC realizes its mission to empower the future of New York.
To date, Empire APEX Accelerator serves 41 counties throughout New York State. Since 2020, we have:
- Assisted more than 1,100 clients
- Aided in the award of more than 6,300 contracts totaling more than $345 million in government funds
