Final Rule For EHR Meaningful Use Announced

On July 13, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced its final rule on the definition and requirements for meaningful use that providers must achieve in order to receive incentive payments for electronic health records (EHRs). The final rule can be viewed in the Federal Register. The announcement comes after a period of public comment.
