Data Classification Presentation

On September 24, 2009, NYSTEC and the New York State Office of Temporary Disability Assistance delivered a joint presentation entitled “Managing Technology: Data Identification & Classification” at the Government Technology East Conference in Albany, NY. The speakers, NYSTEC Information Security Consultant Slawomir Marcinkowski and NYS OTDA Chief Information Security Officer Deborah Snyder, discussed the importance of data classification in protecting against security threats, and provided an overview of key success factors.
